Mark Frederick has been the Director of Bands at Tri-West High School for the past fifteen years. In that time, his marching bands have appeared at State Finals numerous times and his concert bands have consistently received Division One honors.

Born in Indiana, Mr. Frederick has spent many years on the west coast honing his composing skills in the Los Angeles music scene. He has written in many genres including pop, rock, folk as well as symphonic band. He has recorded hundreds of soundtracks and original projects in his recording studio and worked as a staff writer for Lockheed Industries industrial films. His music for their documentary on the U-2 spy plane was featured at the Smithsonian’s Air and Space Museum.
